1. Service Description

Trapoula provides online multiplayer traditional card games (Scopa, Tressette, Briscola) in 1v1 and 2v2 formats, including friendly matches, ranked ladders, and official bot play.

2. Account & Eligibility

Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for safeguarding your session credentials. Each player is limited to one primary account.

3. Fair Play & Conduct (SEC-01)

Competitive integrity is central to Trapoula. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Using unauthorized bots, automated scripts, or external calculation tools.
• Collusion, signal exchange between partners, or intentional rating manipulation (win-trading).
• Systematic forfeits, intentional turn stalling, or denial-of-service attempts against game servers.
• Harassment, abusive communication, or inappropriate usernames in social and club features.

4. Ratings and Leaderboards

Elo ratings and leaderboard positions are computed automatically by the engine upon match completion. Match outcomes recorded by the server are final. Rating corrections may be applied in proven cases of manipulation.

5. Suspension & Account Termination

Trapoula reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Users may delete their account at any time through the Settings page.

6. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for transient network disruptions.
